Canadian Resort Wakes Up To "Fresh Blanket Of Snow" As Opening Day Excitement Builds

Skiers across the majority of The United States have yet to see significant snowfall this season. Meanwhile, our friendly neighbors in the Great White North are stacking snow like it's going out of style.

Lake Louise Ski Resort is sporting a thick enough coat of white that the mountain is starting to look like it does in early-December, not October.

Check out the post below shared on the morning of October 18th, 2023 of fresh snow blanketing the upper elevations of the resort:

As mentioned before, Lake Louise seems to be getting hit by an abundance of early-season storms.

The resort's first measurable snow fell way back on September 6th, and the news nearly broke the internet as the preseason stoke came to a boil.

The resort plans to open on November 10th, 2023, weather and conditions permitting. It doesn't appear that should be an issue if the weather continues to hold.

Skiers are surely disappointed by the FIS' decision to cancel the annual World Cup races at Lake Louise this season due to lack of funding.

Here's hoping it keeps snowing all winter long to make up for it!

There's a solid chance that Lake Louise will pick up significant snowfall from a "major" storm that's brewing and expected to hit late next week.
