Calvin Klein Opts for Monochromatic Minimalism

Calvin Klein is painting the town white with its Monochromatic Summer collection, a chic ode to contemporary minimalism.

On Wednesday, the PVH-owned brand unveiled its latest collection featuring apparel and undergarments crafted in coordinated shades of white, specifically curated for “summertime elegance,” Calvin Klein noted.

In support of the collection, the New York-headquartered brand tapped “Empire of Light” actor Micheal Ward and Vogue Korea cover star and model Vittoria Ceretti to star in its campaign.

The campaign, shot by British-born photographer Josh Olins, captures Ward and Ceretti in the new collection as they embrace the “invigorating possibilities” of the summer season.

“The campaign nods to a summer in the city, juxtaposing the collection’s white palette against the textures of New York,” Calvin Klein stated in a press release. “Soft lighting and minimal tone-on-tone styling evoke the season’s warmth, showcasing each style’s simplicity, energy and sensuality.”

Campaign content will be shared across Calvin Klein’s social channels and will also show up across high-impact out-of-home locations around the world.

In its pursuit to refine men’s wear and women’s wear, Calvin Klein’s Monochromatic Summer collection features soft fabrics and a light color palette that delivers the “ultimate overstated understatement.”

Notable pieces in the collection include a classic linen button-down shirt, a denim maxi skirt with a front slit, high-rise denim shorts, a satin maxi dress and a denim mini skirt. Rounding out the collection is a variety of accessories, including underwear, a leather crossbody bag, a tote bag with Calvin Klein’s logo adorned on the front and more.

The Monochromatic Summer collection retails for $22-$329 and is available now on Calvin Klein’s website.
