Owned by founders Austin Evans and Richard Patrick, the Cathead Distillery is located on the edge of downtown Jackson, and currently produces seven small-batch spirits where the Cathead Jam festival and other events take place every year.

This year, fans can expect live music from the Bailey Brothers from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and DJ Cadillac & DJ Tam from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. during the crawfish boil.

Earlier this year, Cathead Distillery canceled its popular annual Cathead Jam festival, saying they wanted to grow and explore new avenues to connect with the community and create memorable experiences.

This decision allows them to focus on enhancing programs and services, ensuring that when Cathead Jam returns in the future, it will be even more spectacular, organizers said.

"We are planning lots of events including programming for next year," said Patrick, co-founder of Cathead Distillery, in an interview with the Clarion Ledger. "Standard marketing is our approach, social channels and email blast to help get the word out about different events we have coming"

Indoor and outdoor seating will be open during the event. The crawfish this year will be provided by Sal & Phil's with a full bar offering Cathead cocktails, domestic and draft beer.
