Call for public mural artists for Hagerfest Arts & Music Festival

The Hagerstown Arts and Entertainment District is seeking five artists to create five permanent murals in downtown Hagerstown as part of the inaugural Hagerfest Arts and Music Festival.

The Hagerfest Arts and Music Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 21. The mural installations are part of the overall festivities that day.

The theme of this year’s murals is “Awaken," combining modern aesthetics with nostalgia.
