Pastel colors, miniature eggs, sweet bites: this cake is Easter. Minneapolis-based photographer Tonia Larson is the woman behind this cheery treat, and the craft ideas and recipes she posts on her family-friendly blog, The Gunny Sack, have been featured on The Rachel Ray Show and The Chew.
For this cake, Larson fills 4-inch springform pans with pink, blue, and yellow batters. After baking them, she frosts them in thick white buttercream. Finally, she presses pairs of Cadbury Mini Eggs onto the sides of the cake, creating a swirl striped pattern.
