Brooke Shields’ relationship with her daughters Rowan, 20, and Grier, 18, may have changed since they became adults, but it’s still super sweet. The Pretty Baby alum shared how she enjoys girls nights when her husband Chris Henchy is out of town, and it sounds perfect.

“My younger daughter just turned 18. You know, the minute my husband is on any type of work trip or gone or something, you know, they still sleep in the bed with me,” she said on The Jess Cagle Show, per PEOPLE. “We still watch rom-coms. They’re my babies and they will never not be.”

Snuggling up watching rom-coms together? It sounds amazing! We love how the girls still love spending time with their mom — and it makes us hopeful for the future when our kids are fully grown too!

During the interview, she also talked about how she’s been “avoiding thinking” about Grier going to college in the fall. “People will say to me, ‘Oh, you’re gonna be so relieved,’ and I just don’t see it happening,” she said. “I don’t see it happening. I was like, ‘Well, they’re still gonna come back,’ and by the way, the cost of just living in this city is so prohibitive anyways that it may work in my favor.”

In November, The Blue Lagoon star opened up about how anxious she was while Rowan was studying abroad. “It’s the worst, it’s the absolute worst,” she told TODAY at Glamour’s 2023 Women of the Year Awards. “It was bad enough when she went to college, now she’s hours later and I can’t find her and I get pictures of her escapades.”

The emotions started early for Shields, who wasn’t able to take her eldest daughter to the airport. “I wouldn’t take her, my husband took her,” she confessed. “I left her at the curb in front of where we live. I was like, ‘You drive her. I’m going to be right here but I cannot do an airport, I will embarrass you.’”

And now she has to get ready for Grier to do the same thing! Last month, Grier turned 18 and Shields shared several throwback photos of her lookalike daughter. “My baby girl is 18 💛,” Shields wrote on Instagram. “I love being your mom and seeing the wonderful woman you’re growing into.. Happy golden birthday, Grier! I love you! ✨🎉”
