Brittany Mahomes Reveals Her Sneaky Hack for Getting Son Bronze To Eat His Veggies &...It’s Worth a Shot

The bane of every parent of young children’s existence is trying to get them to eat their greens. Because so many toddlers will kick and whine and throw before they let a pea pass their lips. (The horror!)
And so any time a parent offers up their secret hack for making their kids eat their veggies, we are all ears. On her latest Instagram story, Brittany Mahomes let followers in on how she feeds rice and broccoli to her 1-year-old son Bronze Mahomes. Brittany shares the little guy and her 3-year-old daughter Sterling with her high school sweetheart, Patrick Mahomes.

In the video, Bronze looks hilariously grumpy, throwing his toys around, but Brittany seems confident in her plan. After scooping up some rice and broccoli, she gets a little dairy in the mix.
“Nothing a little yogurt can’t cover up,” she wrote over the video with a laughing emoji. (See it HERE before it disappears.)
And…shoot your shot, girl. Given that she’s a former professional soccer player and the co-owner of the Kansas City Current, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised that she scored a goal. Bronze ate it up, giving his mom what could be the start of some side eye — but that’s par for the course with that little cutie.
As for the rest of us…it’s worth giving it a try! Finding a way to sneak veggies into something you know your kid likes is always a good move. After all, what’s the worst that happens? They spot the carrot hiding in the yogurt and it all goes flying? That was probably going to happen anyway, so what’s the harm in trying? Best case, they gobble it up like the youngest Mahomes who must love strawberry yogurt.
Little Bronze is going to need to keep eating his greens if he wants to make his actions from a few weeks ago come to fruition. Brittany posted an adorable collection of photos from yet another beautiful family photoshoot, and in one epic shot, Bronze looks like he’s recreating a famous pose.
“Ok bronze looking like he’s in the Heisman stance lol 😂,” one follower commented.
And he really will need lots of fruits and veggies if he wants to earn the award for the top NCAA football player.
