Bride and Groom's Wedding Entrance on Horseback Is the Stuff Dreams are Made Of

As cliche as it sounds, many people really do dream about their weddings long before they meet the person who will become their spouse. Brides are particularly known for planning everything out to the last detail--even to the point of being a 'bridezilla'--but there's nothing wrong with dreaming about the day that celebrates you and your love becoming one!

Now that I'm going through the wedding planning process myself, I'm glad I've spent countless hours on Pinterest scrolling through different flowers, place settings, and hairstyles. I don't feel completely clueless when figuring out what I really want for our wedding, but the one thing I still haven't figured out is how to involve my dogs on the special day.

As for one dedicated Florida horse owner and trail ride leader, there was no question about how her four-legged friend would play a role. Her husband is also an equestrian, so it only made sense that they enter their February 3 wedding on horseback.

Congratulations to the bride and groom! The couple looked as lovely as can be on their big day, and the best part was that they got to be 100% themselves. After all, isn't that what a wedding is all about?

The bride looked like she rode right out of a Hallmark movie on her Pinto-patterned horse, but my favorite detail was the way she looked at her new hubby non-stop as they rode side by side. Her dress was perfectly tailored for horseback riding, and she completed her bridal look with a pair of stunning boots and a long, flowing veil. It's what every horse girl dreams about!

How to Involve Pets in a Wedding

Of course, this couple's equestrian nuptials is just one example of the dozens, if not hundreds, of ways animals can be involved in weddings. Keep everyone's wellbeing at the front of your mind, of course, and just about anything is possible!

In Colorado, where pets can serve as legal witnesses to a wedding, more and more animal owners are letting their dogs and cats play a role on the big day. Of course, having pets serve as the ring bearer or flower girl is always a classic choice, but you can always hire a babysitter for your 'dog of honor!' Remember--it's perfectly OK if your furry friend needs to stay home, too. Weddings can be loud and crowded, and that's not everyone's cup of tea! When in doubt, your buddy can head home after photos to avoid getting overwhelmed.

The bottom line is that there's no right or wrong way to include your VIPs (very important pets) on your wedding day. Whether you let your dog give the bride away or you opt to enter your reception on horseback like this stunning couple, your guests will be sure to remember the special moment.
