Border Collie's Precious Way of Waking Up Mom's Friend Goes Viral
Your dog is always sweetest to you. They follow you everywhere, they're always happy to see you, and they always put a smile on your face when you're down. But one clip of one woman's Border Collie gently waking up a friend is a reminder dogs are pretty much angels to everyone.
We really don't deserve dogs, as the video shared by Marnie Catherine definitely proves.
Marnie must've had her BFF stay overnight because she was still there in the morning, prompting her 12-year-old Border Collie Frankie to wake her bestie up. Hey, it's better than getting woken up by your phone.

The clip shows Frankie gently stepping on the bed that her bestie was sleeping on. She was being so careful!
"She's trying so hard to be the most polite in waking up my BFF," the video's text overlay states.
Can you even imagine how sweet it must have to been to get woken up by the cutest puppy? Sadly we only see her friend reaching her arm over to Frankie before the video cut off, but we can only imagine that Frankie got some serious cuddles that morning.
People in the comments section were smitten by Frankie's calm and cautious wake up call. "That dog would heal me," one person joked. "Not her looking at you like 'is this gentle enough,'" someone else pointed out. "She’s herding in lower case," a third commenter joked. "Oh you’re absolutely kidding me what a perfect angel," one person gushed.
Why Border Collies Make Wonderful Companions
If you have a Border Collie, this interaction shouldn't surprise you. These dogs are highly intelligent and downright graceful. Border Collies are alert, agile, and were actually bred to be shepherd dogs too. They're even-tempered, energetic, and eager to please. Making them good with both adults and kids alike.
These dogs can bond deeply with their owner, typically with one main person, but are still lovely and kind to others. This makes Border Collies perfect family dogs, especially if your family loves the great outdoors.
Border Collies are are very playful and boisterous. They're herding dogs, meaning they're very likely to wake up all the members of the household in the morning. So it's understandable why Frankie couldn't wait for her mama's bestie to get up and start her day!
Collies age well too. Even though they get older, their minds stay sharp and they continue to be the loveliest, most dedicated companions. Older Collies need a lot of mental stimulation as they get older, but will never fail to be by your side.
