BMX Legend Shares Optimistic Update After Devastating Crash

As many of you know by now, Dan Paley - BMX legend, mountain bike savant, 50:01 crew member, and all around top notch shredder - took a wicked slam at Darkfest down in South Africa last week.

Dan broke his leg, messed up his wrist, and required emergency surgery. He shared an update today and seems to be in high spirits despite this disappointing setback. Here it is.

Dan has spent the last few years riddled with injuries so it is a major bummer to see him down with yet another big one right as it felt like he was beginning to generate some real momentum again.

He appears to have an incredibly strong resolve and willingness to recover as was evident from his last battle with injury. Can't say for certain if it's the BMX background that makes him so tough or if he is just built different, but either way, we expect to see Dan back to full strength and dropping some heaters by the end of the summer.

In the meantime, you can find his GoFundMe here.
