Blind and Deaf Senior Dog Reuniting with Owner After 2 Months Apart Is So Beautiful
Our dogs form such strong bonds with us, and they show they miss us even after we've just been gone at work for the day. TikTok user @Rachelhmarie posted a touching video on August 12 of her sweet deaf and blind senior dog recognizing her after two months of being apart.

The way she cries and vocalizes is just so touching! She's so excited to have mom back after being separated! @Am comments, "Dogs barking like that MELTS my heart. That baby missed you." @Rutral replies, "We don’t deserve dogs!! This is soooo beautiful." @Angel adds, "After that sniff I started bawling. That baby knew momma was home."
Deaf and blind dogs rely on other senses to recognize their owners. Scent plays a big part, as well as the distinct vibration of their owner's voice, their touch, and their owner's energy and body language. Halo's sweet reaction proved she knew mom was home even if he couldn't see or hear her.

Awwww, Halo is just so happy to be back together with everyone. There's nothing as sweet as a senior dog with special needs, and we always love seeing these videos of their owners giving them the best life ever. It's just so wonderful that Halo is back with her mom again.
