Big Wave Surfers Take On Massive Mullaghmore in New Edit from Surfing Visions

You won't find Australian surf cinematographer Tim Bonython shooting tour surfers doing airs at Trestles.

Bonython likes his waves big, really big. In fact, he has an affinity for the world's most terrifying, bombing, and absolutely beautiful surf.

Lucky for us, he's been pumping out epic footage from his recent forays into places with pumping surf like Morocco and Portugal's Nazaré.

His latest edit comes from Ireland's big wave spot, Mullaghmore.

Bonython captioned the edit above:

"Tonnta Leanúnacha meaning in Irish is Continuous Waves and this what you get more so than anywhere when comes to this Irish slab called Mullaghmore.

"It's the TEAHUPOO of Ireland. Its BIG, its ROUND & it holds no prisoners. One mistake and your down for the count. Even the best out their paid a price on this day. ENJOY."

Opening the video, Bonython says to the camera:

"This time, we're at one of my favorite spots on the planet, and there's plenty of 'em. But this place is so beautiful and pristine, gorgeous green fields.

"I'm just driving through the country side. It's better than anywhere, one of the best places on the planet to come to.

"It's Ireland, and when Ireland's firing and the waves are good, you're gonna get some really exciting stuff."

The videos just under 20 minutes of non-stop bombs at Mullaghmore, the same place Oahu's Nathan Florence caught the wave that earned him the Ride of the Year award.

Last month, Florence questioned his mortality after surfing 25-foot Mullaghmore and Irish big wave surfer Andrew Cotton endured an insane wipeout during the same session.
