Pueblo foodies who love homegrown chiles and the creative dishes that local chefs make with them have just a few days left to vote in the Chieftain's best breakfast slopper poll.

Pueblo's iconic slopper — that irresistible Pueblo green chile-smothered cheeseburger ― is not just a popular midday or dinner meal. The Chieftain found eight local eateries that offer a breakfast slopper, each with its own flare thanks to the imaginations of the creative chefs behind them.

The breakfast sloppers can feature eggs, sometimes bacon, and all sorts of other surprises that foodies are sure to want to try. There is even a vegan option.
