The Best April Fools' Day Jokes From Across The Bike Industry

It's April Fools' Day and everyone's favorite bike industry tradition of absurdly silly product launches and announcements is here.

Take a look at a few of our favorites from across the industry starting with DMR's "new" train stem below.

Another great one came from Trek Bikes who debuted their new denim road bike this morning. The "Carpe Denim" features a 5 pocket design and an instruction to tumble dry it on low.

Revel also debuted their new super duper long travel Rail 29 complete with a 1200mm fork and 42º head tube angle. This thing might even give the old Super Monster T a run for its money.

Another great one came from the 5DEV guys down in San Diego who took the performance benefits of billet block aluminum to an entirely new height. Check out their durable but questionably grippy "new" pedal below.

There were undoubtedly more that we missed so check back for updates, but in the meantime enjoy the day of gags, and don't get caught with your pants down trying to by billet pedals.
