It’s reaching highs of 82 degrees in New York City today—a temperature that obviously calls for the start of sundress season.

Bella Hadid initiated the sartorial shift with her own dress, a romantic lacy look from Rokh’s Fall/Winter 2024 runway that might be more at home in sunny Portofino, Italy, than on the concrete-lined streets of Manhattan.

This vacation-inspiring ensemble features a strapless lace corset with a twisted bandeau bustline, seamlessly paired with a flowing asymmetrical skirt with diagonal tiers of variously sized ruffles.

The supermodel amplified the romantic appeal of the look with the rest of her outfit, which includes a large flower-shaped pendant chain necklace in gold, diamond-encrusted chunky rings from Maison H Jewels, and a pair of heeled white sandals with multiple buckled straps.

After a months-long absence from the scene, Hadid returned to New York City street style with gusto on Wednesday, when she delivered two major looks in under 24 hours.

The first outfit involved another romantic dress, this time a vintage nude-toned slipdress from John Galliano’s Dior Spring 2004 collection. The piece included fluttery embellishments adorned to the bodice, as well as a feminine draped waist, a mesh overlay, and a fringe-lined hem. Later in the day, Hadid swapped the dress for an all-black Ferragamo look composed of a nylon jacket, skinny capris, and leather mules.

The model is in the midst of launching the first-ever collection from her new fragrance brand, Orebella. The line is a passion project five years in the making. “I didn’t want to just put something on the market that was another product or another perfume,” Hadid recently told Allure. “It was something I was already extremely passionate about, and I didn’t want to keep it for myself anymore.”
