I will admit, there are tons of lightning and brightening creams out there that probably could do the trick. But I found that most of them are made with super harsh chemicals and have a very odd smell (to say the least) that would deter me from using them at all. And because it’s in the form of a bar soap, I used it way more consistently than any other product. It’s a guarantee I’ll take at least one shower a day, but sometimes I slack on putting on lotion if I’m honest. But let’s be clear: the Revivify Beauty Bar Soap didn’t completely change my skin color — that would be wild. But it did even it out. So the areas on my knee’s elbows, under-cheek, and shoulder caps slowly but surely lightened up to match the rest of my body for a more even look.


Also, this soap is truly an experience. Of course, I rate a product on how well it works, but I also consider how it makes me feel from beginning to end. Like is it easy to open? Are there a lot of steps? Does the packaging feel nice? And so on.
