Whether it’s festival season or not, there’s a good reason flower crown filters keep popping up all over social media — people just can’t get enough of them. While people like to have fun playing with different personalized colors and creations of their own, one beauty vlogger literally took flower crowns to new heights.
Wearing a bright yellow, white, and green flower crown over her softly curled purple hair, Renee Hermoso applied her makeup in a way that made it look as if those same colors from her crown were spilling down her face. She shared a series of three back-to-back photos of her final look on Instagram, with one that had the caption “Fairy vibes.”
Fans of her enchanting look left comments showing how mesmerized they were by her creation. One person wrote, “Absolutely beautiful work!” Another chimed in, “Wow! So ethereal! Amazing talent babe!”
While discussing the inspiration behind her epic flower crown moment, Hermoso shared with Yahoo Beauty that while flower crown social media filters are some of her favorite ones to play with, “the inspiration behind this flower crown look was really my love for bright, fun colors that are around during springtime.”
As bold as the look is, Hermoso isn’t afraid to show off in real life either. “I would definitely wear this look out or to a special event,” she says. “I’m all about incorporating bold, avant-garde looks into everyday life.”
From the looks of other photos in her Instagram account, it’s obvious she loves to go there with head-turning makeup moments. Case in point, check out this Guardians of the Galaxy-themed look below.
For those afraid to play with looks as dramatic as Hermoso’s, she advises, “Just have fun! Don’t be afraid to wear color and try something new.”
