While Coachella festivalgoers were excited to see big-name acts like Lady Gaga, Lorde, DJ Khaled, and Kendrick Lamar rock the stage, they were equally excited to show off their beauty and hair looks. Flower crowns were of course a mainstay, but holographic makeup and highlighter hair rose to popularity. Yet the biggest hair trend from Weekend 1 of Coachella has to be double topknots.

Some ladies braved the desert heat with teeny-tiny topknots near the crown of their heads, and others paired the ‘do with braids or face-framing bangs. What makes this festival hairstyle even better is that it works with different hair textures, so it’s super easy to put your unique twist on it.
