Basset Hound’s Reaction to Mom Enjoying a Rice Krispie Treat Is Priceless

If you've ever encountered a basset hound, you'd know they're a unique and distinctive breed of dog known for their long ears, droopy eyes, and a strong sense of smell. While they're typically friendly and good-natured dogs, they can also sometimes be a nuisance, especially if you'd like to eat something in peace.

The owner of the basset hound, Homer, knows this feeling all too well, as she shared a moment where he chose violence because he wanted her Rice Krispie treat in this hilarious video, posted on October 15. Let's check it out!

Look at him being determined!

Homer has his eyes on the prize and won't give up that quickly!

He's like, "This is mine!"

And Homer's weapons are his paws and ears, as you can see in the video, and he goes in full force!

There's no backing off until he gets what he wants—that Rice Krispie treat.

This is too funny!

Homer's owner is like, "Stop! Homer! Stop it!"

But Homer is like, "How dare you eat a treat in front of me and not offer me one?"

Right?

"How dare you, mom!"

As dog owners, we should know better. Never eat something in front of your dog without giving your pup a treat as well.

Just kidding!

Some dogs don't really care, such as my pit bull. He would be unbothered if I ate something next to him, and he could eat all day!

But as we know, every dog is different, just like us humans. They all have their own distinct personalities, which have a lot to do with their breed, temperament, as well as dog training and socialization.

Homer, the basset hound, sure is one of a kind!
