Baskin-Robbins' New Floral-Inspired Flavor Is the 'Perfect Springtime Scoop'

Baskin-Robbins April 2024 Flavor of the Month, Marigold Dreamsicle

Winter is out, spring is in—and Baskin-Robbins is adding a unique new flavor to its lineup to celebrate!

For April, the month synonymous with warmer weather finally beginning to emerge in many places (despite the official first day of spring being in March), the ice cream chain has introduced a flavor of the month inspired by fresh blooms: Marigold Dreamsicle.

The sweet treat features a "bold mix of marigold and vanilla bean ice creams paired with a refreshing orange swirl" and is "made from real marigold blossoms for a light floral taste," according to intel received directly from the brand.

Additionally, it "embraces the growing trend of botanical-inspired treats," offering the "perfect springtime scoop" for fans eager to usher in a new season.

The debut of the orange-colored dessert option aligns with National Gardening Month, which was first recognized in 2002, after initially being introduced as National Gardening Week in 1986.

As for Marigold Dreamsicle, the flavor can be ordered in a scoop (or two or three...), or as part of a beverage or sundae, both in person and via the BR app.

And as with all the flavors of the month, the one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen selection will disappear from menus come May, so curious tastebuds should plan to grab a scoop while it's still available.

On X (formerly Twitter), the ice creamery suggested, "Getting yourself flowers is a form of self-care… especially if they are edible," alongside a photo of several scoops of the new addition positioned inside a waffle cone. One fan in particular took to the comment section to concur with that sentiment, confirming, "I agree and that’s what I’m going to do."

So here's to picking flowers for yourself this spring—or, rather, eating them, if Baskin-Robbins has anything to do with it!
