‘Babysitter Speed Dating’ event to be held at Champaign Library

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Are you a parent on the lookout for a babysitter? Are you a sitter that can prove you’re a fit for their needs in just five minutes? The Champaign Public Library is hosting a “Babysitter Speed Dating” event from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Student Jazz Bands to perform 2024 Jazz Café at Urbana High School

Individual babysitters will be positioned at several tables in Rooms A & B. Just like the format of speed dating, parents will rotate around the tables in five-minute intervals, making quick connections with each sitter. This makes for a fun and dynamic way to meet a wide range of local childcare specialists.

It is recommended that those interested in Babysitter Speed Dating register online. Library officials said some details may be subject to change based on registration numbers.
