With Easter falling in March, April is a little lighter in chocolate than years past. Whether you’re feeling the gloom of April showers (c’mon, May flowers!) or just have a hankering to liven up a weekend with a spectacular chocolate dessert, we have an announcement from our favorite Southern doughnut chain that you’ll want to hear.

Charlotte, North Carolina-based Krispy Kreme just announced a crispy, chocolatey collaboration with none other than Kit Kat to bring you the sweet afternoon treat break you deserve. The new Kit Kat Collection features three mouth-watering doughnuts inspired by one of America’s favorite Hershey candy bars. Here’s the star-studded Kit Kat lineup:

  • Kit Kat Crunch Doughnut: an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in Hershey’s Milk Chocolate icing topped with chopped Kit Kat pieces and chocolate flavored crispies

  • Kit Kat Cookie Dream Doughnut: an unglazed doughnut filled with cookie dough-flavored Kreme dipped in Hershey’s Milk Chocolate icing and covered with chopped Kit Kat pieces, cookie crumbles, and semi-sweet Hershey’s chips plus a drizzle of cookie dough-flavored icing

  • Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie Doughnut: an Original Glazed doughnut topped with brownie batter-flavored buttercream, chopped Kit Kat pieces, brownie chunks, and salted caramel-flavored ribbons

“Life is busy. Take a break with our new Kit Kat Collection,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme. “Every creamy, crispy, chocolatey-sweet bite will help turn that busy day into a sweet one.”

These three doughnuts will be available for a limited time in-store at participating Krispy Kreme locations as well as for pick-up and delivery through Krispy Kreme’s app and website. Two of the new Kit Kat Collection doughnuts—Kit Kat Crunch and Kit Kat Salted Caramel Brownie—will also be available as a limited-time six-pack delivered fresh to select grocery stores.

A dozen doughnuts is a great way to show a little Southern hospitality to a newcomer on the block or to your local educators. If you’re feeling inspired to “take a bite and take a break,” as Krispy Kreme put it, we have another spring dessert worth sharing. Take heed, though—once you let your family taste-test this creamy, crispy, chocolatey no-bake treat, there’s no getting off the hook for future parties.
