Aslin Beer Company opening near Oceanfront just in time for holiday weekend

Aslin Beer Co., based in Northern Virginia, will welcome guests Saturday to its fifth location, in Virginia Beach and the first in Hampton Roads.
Some folks may have noticed the pink, turquoise and yellow colored shipping containers while cruising down Virginia Beach Boulevard, one block east of the Virginia Beach Sports Center. The brewery worked with a local architect for a design and elements, such as the cargo containers, to fit the character of the port area.
Aslin Beer, known for its juicy India pale ales and fruit-infused sours, will have a tasting room, retail shop and an eatery, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Customers can enjoy coffee, bagels, pizza and more in the beer garden that features the company’s first tiki bar.
Don’t miss the other perks for Saturday’s grand opening. The brewery will have live music, food specials and an exclusive beer release called Swell Maneuvers, a Mexican-style lager with lime. Cheers.
