When Katie Holmes stepped out in New York City wearing a matching oatmeal-colored cashmere cardigan and bralette this September, it was mayhem. The $1,540 Khaite cardigan hung off of Holmes’s shoulder in a way that oozed luxury — and its certain irresistibility drove the internet into a frenzy. Once photos hit social media, the $520 bralette sold out in an hour. Now, search the actress’s name with the brand’s and there are over 40,000 results. Everybody was talking about the $2,060 set.
