Art on the Square hosts regional photo show

May 14—GREENSBURG — Art on the Square Gallery and the Decatur County Arts Connection hosted a reception for photographers competing in the 2024 Regional Photography Show Friday evening.

Light refreshments were served as guests mingled with artists and photographers from Rush, Shelby, Bartholomew, Ripley and Franklin counties.

Guests were asked to vote for "People's Choice," which will be announced in June.

Katie Baker Sparks' "Come, Let's Play" was chosen as Critics' Choice while Barb Hatton's photo "Winter in Spring" was the runner up. Both received monetary prizes.

Coming to the Gallery in June is the paintings and stained glass works of Ed Parker and Margaret Couch Parke.

Art on the Square Gallery is located at 114 E. Washington St.

Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
