Anya Taylor-Joy’s bun hairstyle looks like a gigantic pastry

Anya Taylor-Joy is currently gracing the star-studded Cannes Film Festival with her ethereal presence. As to be expected, she has delivered some serious beauty serves.

Appearing on the red carpet for the premiere of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, where Anya stars as the title role in an origin story of a renegade warrior before her encounter and team-up with Mad Max. The movie was reported to get a six minute standing ovation, but can they be sure that wasn't for Anya's incredible 'S' bun hairstyle? Because this is art.

Her trusted stylist, Gregory Russell, (who's also worked on the glossy locks of stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Kendell Jenner, Kaia Gerber 😮💨) really delivered. Loosely swept back, her long platinum blonde hair was beautifully twisted into a giant looping infinity symbol that simultaneously looked impossibly glamorous and also like a giant pastry.

And everyone in Gregory's comments was just as gagged as we were:

Anya posted more shots of the look herself and we are simply obsessed. Shout out MUA Georgie Eisdell on that red lip. It was the cherry on the cake, if you will.

But the pair didn't stop there. In the same day – yes the same. damn. day. – they switched it up into this vampy late night look. Centre parted and chic, with this long glamorous glossy pony in the back.
