This full-day, in-person event on March 26 will be held at Tribeca Rooftop Event Space in downtown New York. Titled “A Need for Radical Cooperation,” the day will spotlight the pivotal role collaboration plays to scale sustainability.
“Though it may seem like common sense, the need to work together has to be addressed,” according to Pete Sadera, Sourcing Journal’s editor in chief. “Our industry has lofty goals and promises when it comes to sustainability, and it is paramount that we come together if we want to actually achieve them.”
Not just for sustainability execs
Attention to sustainability continues to grow at the corporate level, with companies adding bona-fide sustainability executives to their C-suites. Even so, the summit will show how environmental and social responsibility initiatives shape sourcing, product design, raw material development, manufacturing, compliance, financing, operational decisions and more.
Join this full-day lineup of speakers and panels to learn:
How the industry can overcome sustainability burnout
What climate change means for long-term sustainability
Why traceability is equally important pre- and post-purchase
All the legislation that is coming and how to increase compliance transparency
How CSR & ESG should be looked at as opportunities, not obligations
How to scale up material innovations to boost industry buy-in and bring prices down
What will drive investment in sustainability
How brands can better market sustainability to avoid a consumer disconnect
And more!
