Joey Fatone

If you're Joey Fatone, you're definitely having one hell of a kick off to the fall season. From sending millennials into a full-on frenzy by reuniting with *NSYNC on stage for the 2023 MTV VMAs to the band releasing their first song together in 20(!) years, Joey is really reeling in the glory.

While fans of the group and each respective member have speculated that a well-awaited tour is on the docket for 2024, Joey — who is just as eager to see if it'll happen — has spent his time lately prepping for another tour. And, it's one that fans can be sure is for a good cause.

Joining forces with the Heluva Good! brand, the Fat One's founder is heading out on the No Team Required Tailgate Tour to bring an unforgettable experience to fans everywhere. Stopping by four U.S. cities — Hoboken, Austin, Charleston and Raleigh — the tour will see Heluva Good! donate $25 (up to $5,000 per city) for every person who attends to No Kid Hungry. And yes, there will be endless dips for you to try.

"I've teamed up with Heluva Good! I've done many things with them now over the years — I think this is gonna be my fifth year with them — and  what I love about Heluva GoodA is they don't take themselves too serious," he told Parade. "So it's a lot of fun. It's a good cause, but also we're sharing the product. And also you got my silly butt coming out and hanging out and having a good time, which is always fun."

Of course, a grocery store run for Joey absolutely includes picking up a few tubs of his favorite Heluva Good! Dip (spoiler alert: it's the French Onion variety), but there's actually something else he has to grab every time he visits his local Publix — and, he picks up four jars at a time.

"In Publix, there's pickles in there called Grillo's Pickles," he enthusiastically told Parade. "It's a container — not even on the shelf with all the other pickles if you go down to pickle aisle, — but in the area where they have the cold cuts and all the other the other ones that are already pre-cut. There is a place [for them] and they're called Grillo's Pickles."

Going on to say that while he doesn't know exactly what's in the pickles, Joey revealed that he's found an addiction to them and it doesn't seem like it's going to let up any time soon.

"They're amazing. There are ones that are spicy and then there are regular ones," he said. "I'm not even exaggerating; it's not even a joke. I buy four containers pretty much every time I go. I buy two spicy ones and two regular ones and I go through them literally in about two weeks."

For those not familiar with the brand, Grillo's — who claims to make "the world's best pickles" — uses only simple, garden-fresh ingredients in their 100-year-old family recipe. And while the Floridian in Joey loves to grab them from Publix, these crispy snacks can actually be found in most grocery stores, right in the refrigerated section.

So, the next time you plan to head to Publix, Target, Whole Foods or beyond, take a page right out of Joey Fatone's book and grab yourself a container or two of pickles. Not sure his go-to snack happens to be for you? You can always pick up Olivia Rodrigo's better-for-you snack of choice instead.
