Alexander Skarsgård, with new hairdo, was unrecognizable on the Louis Vuitton red carpet

On Thursday night, Big Little Lies star Alexander Skarsgård debuted a shocking new hairdo on the red carpet for Louis Vuitton’s new “Voyez, Voguez, Voyagez” exhibit. The actor was sans his usual slick, side-swept golden hairstyle and instead showed off a shiny bald head. His hair appears to have been shaved off from the top, leaving the sides intact.

Although the actor has not publicly remarked on his new look, it’s presumably for his upcoming role as Anton Zaleski in the film The Hummingbird Project, in which he costars with Salma Hayek and Jessie Eisenberg.

Despite the new ’do, Skarsgård still looked dapper, wearing a tailored gray suit and pale blue shirt for the Louis Vuitton event, where he was joined by other A-listers, including Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams, and Jennifer Connelly.

Twitter users have a lot to say regarding Skarsgård’s new hairstyle, with some comparing him to Prince William and even Dr. Phil.

Though some fans are not deterred by the radical change.

What do you think of Skarsgård’s new look?
