Aldi Is Selling a $25 Rattan Storage Table That's So Similar to Pottery Barn's Style Over 17x the Price

As we start to spend more time outside on our patios or in our backyards, there’s more of a need for trendy and useful outdoor items like chairs and side tables. Even if you have a backyard that’s already full of patio furniture, a large storage table is always welcome. That’s where Aldi comes in with one of their upcoming Aldi Finds: a rattan storage table that rivals Pottery Barn for a tiny fraction of the price.
Starting April 3 through April 9, Aldi’s April Aldi Finds includes the aesthetically pleasing Belavi Rattan Storage Table. It’s only $25 and is a substantial size; it measures 11.81 inches by 14.17 inches wide and over 18 inches tall. It’s made with a rust-resistant steel frame and a beige rattan material woven over it. The lid slides over to reveal storage inside to store patio accessories like pillows, cups, tools or anything else you have outside.

Not only is this storage table on-trend, but it’s also a smart way to easily access stored items. This is a common concept (because who doesn’t want useful furniture that does more than give you comfort or hold your drinks?). Target’s home goods brand, Threshold, has something that’s nearly identical to Aldi’s storage table with their Natural Wicker Round Storage Accent Table ($85).
While that table is nearly sold out everywhere, Pottery Barn also has several storage ottomans and tables that are pretty close to Aldi’s Rattan Storage Table. This includes the Westport Wicker Storage Outdoor Side Table.

Westport Wicker Storage Outdoor Side Table, $449 at Pottery Barn

Pottery Barn’s Westport Wicker Storage side table has a similar woven design with wicker (similar to rattan) that’s the same color over an aluminum metal frame. The wooden lid is made from teak wood. Pottery Barn’s storage side table is a bit of a different shape—more of a squat cylinder than a tall rounded one—and slightly bigger than Aldi’s, measuring 19 inches in diameter and 17 inches tall.
Even though Pottery Barn’s wicker storage table is made with higher-quality materials, it’s $449—which is over 17 times the price of Aldi’s. With the same exact use, you might want to head to Aldi if you’re in the market for some stylish storage this spring.
