Adorable French Bulldog Has Helped Foster Over 200 Puppies

The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region out of Colorado Springs, Colorado shared a touching post on October 19 about one of their former foster pups named Louis.

In three years, Louis has been a foster daddy to almost 200 in-need puppies.

According to the post, Back in 2018, Louis was part of a cruelty case where our Animal Law Enforcement rescued 21 dogs from a neglect situation. Louis was severely emaciated, and for almost two months, he was in foster gaining weight and learning how to be a dog again.

Since then Louis has helped the most vulnerable puppies. According to the touching post, "He learned from the best, and according to his family, Louis is the "fun parent." He lets the puppies play tug with his jowls, use his stout body as a jungle gym, and teaches them how to clear a room with a fart. When they aren't playing, Louis will sunbathe and nap with them."

He sounds like the best foster dad ever!

Fostering is such a wonderful experience, and shelters sure can use the help because they are usually understaffed and lacking funds. If you live in a home with a pet that is particularly friendly towards other animals, that can benefit fosters you may take in with socialization skills and feeling less alone in their new, temporary surroundings.
