Adorable English Bulldog Chills in Full Holiday Spirit Like It’s Her Job

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Now that the big day is here, it's time to sit back with a cup of cocoa and finally relax after all of the hustle and bustle leading up to it. @Eggnog the Bulldog is ready to chill, and she goes all out when she does it!

Eggnog posted a video in mid-December of her looking very festive and really radiating the holiday spirit! She's sitting on the couch (like a human) and decked out in a little gingerbread man costume (she's even got on slippers!), while enjoying the snack she's chomping on. She's holding on to a mug that has a cookie just waiting to be eaten, when she notices something...Eggnog is out of eggnog!

Talk about Christmas goals! I wish I was sitting in my pjs and enjoying a Christmas cookie and a mug full of eggnog! She looks very comfy, and you can tell she's an expert at just chilling out and enjoying the holidays! I wasn't the only one who thoroughly enjoyed @Eggnog's video; it's been viewed more than 9 million times and has over 5,300 comments...people loved it! My favorite comment was from @Holly who said, "Footage of me the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day". I can totally relate to that!

Animals Enjoy the Holidays Too!

With the holidays here, humans aren't the only ones celebrating. Pet parents love dressing up their animals in festive gear and put them in cute little sweaters (sometimes they even match!) Target even has dog treat decorating kits so that you can surprise your fur babies with their own presents on Christmas morning!

Eggnog isn't the only English bulldog to get all dressed up for the season - Pabs is a bulldog who wasn't excited at all about his dad putting him in holiday gear. This pig woke up to find a treat waiting for him, and he was excited! There's nothing better than watching cats attack the tree, and these 10 cats went to war with Christmas in their homes.

Don't forget to keep your pets safe during the holiday season. If you have a real Christmas tree in the house, ensure that your pets can't drink the water out of the tree stand, especially if you've put chemicals in the water to help the tree last longer. Ensure that any ornaments on the tree that they can reach aren't made of glass or anything else that they can't eat. And make sure they don't have access to lights and electrical wires. And remember that holiday plants like holly, poinsettias, and mistletoe are toxic for some animals, so keep them out of reach as well. Better to be safe than sorry!
