Adorable cuddle pup is looking for a loving home

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Meet June, a pocket-sized terrier mix that came to the shelter as a worried stray.

The shelter told 6 News she has blossomed into an awesome dog and was very lucky to spend some time in a foster home where the family learned a lot of good things (and a few not-quite-as-good things).

June loves cats, but most importantly, loves kids! They can do just about anything with her and she will be ridiculously happy.

June is a bouncy, enthusiastic houseguest who thinks every day is the best day ever. The shelter says she loves chewing on antlers, and water buffalo horns and loves chicken. She takes cookies very well and gently but she doesn’t know any commands.

The shelter says she will take some time to warm up to men (chicken goes a long way to winning her over) and thinks everyone in a hoodie is up to no good.

She likes well-behaved dogs and would prefer an easy-going friend who likes to play. If you are looking for a spunky, kid-loving cuddle bug, June would love to meet you! She is 3 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

You can inquire about her by visiting ac.ingham.org or call 517-676-8370. Ingham County Animal Control and Shelter is located at 600 Buhl St, Mason MI.
