Active for Autism 5K Run in Baton Rouge: When, where

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Families Helping Families of Greater Baton Rouge is hosting the Active for Autism 5K Run/Walk/Fun Fest to raise awareness.

The event is set for 8 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, 6400 Perkins Road.

FHFGBR’s event promotes awareness, acceptance and inclusion of individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. The community is invited to come together in celebration and support of individuals affected by autism and their families.

This year is extra special because FHFGBR is celebrating 25 years of serving families of
children and adults with disabilities. The nonprofit serves parishes in the region, including East and West Baton Rouge, East and West Feliciana, Iberville, Ascension and Pointe Coupee.
