Absurd Skiing "Tutorial" Is The Funniest Thing You'll See This Week

The internet is a vast repository of information, a modern, neatly organized Library of Babel capable of delivering the answers to our wildest speculations in milliseconds without the head-scratching. Astrophysics, gastronomic wonders, ancient lore... you name it -- the internet can help you master it.

Or, instead, you could use the internet to watch this skiing "tutorial" video from @_bonk_the_chonk_ and start your Monday morning off with a laugh. Not everyone can be a digital autodidact.

@_bonk_the_chonk_, who I'll refer to as Bonk from here on out, has established a cult following for his unique strain of parody videos.

His subject? Skiing tutorials.

As you've probably figured out, his satires start slowly enough to convey that he might be capable of teaching you something, before devolving into silliness. Then, the punch line -- a crash that'll leave you fearing for Bonk's well-being -- arrives.

It's a simple, pitch-perfect bit of internet humor, capable of being repeated in different formats before it loses its charm.

But Bonk isn't just a jokester -- he rips on skis, too.

Bonk's approach to skiing, which prominently features flips off terrifyingly small features, mirrors that of Ross Imburgia, one of the original members of the LINE Traveling Circus crew.

I'm excited, if a bit concerned, to watch Bonk carry on Imburgia's legacy. Imburgia was one of those skiers that reliably terrified me with his antics. I'd only unclench my jaw after he put whatever he was trying to his feet. But hey, that's part of the fun of watching gnarly skiing, right?

I'd be remiss to leave you without a little bit of action from Imburgia, so here's the man himself making the impossible "Rossible."
