Nothing quite hits the spot like a tasty Costco dessert. Seriously, some of the best items to satisfy your sweet tooth are in the Costco bakery aisle. Most recently, the bulk retailer’s almond florentine cookies stunned shoppers — and the brand just keeps giving, as another hot-ticket item that you’ll want to try ASAP just hit the warehouse.

Costco has been known for their mini cakes, like the gingerbread cakes they release during the holidays or the rich fudge cakes for all the chocolate-lovers — and the latest flavor is cookies and cream, as spotted by Instagram account @costcodealsonline. The treat resembles a large cupcake with a chocolate base and vanilla frosting topped with cookie crumbles. A pack of six is currently retailing for $8.99.

Commenters on the post were excited to try the new flavor, but were eager to chime in with their own favorites from over the years — lemon and red velvet being the most popular. But for those of us who love a good chocolate treat, these are certainly going to hit the spot.

The Instagrammer even got a sample of the cake (one of the best parts about going to Costco, in our opinion), and mentioned that the station was so flooded they couldn’t get a picture of the display. They visited their local store in Tukwila, Washington, on Thursday, the day of the new flavor release, but the cakes should be hitting all Costco locations shortly if they haven’t already.

Treat yourself this new year with a little taste of something sweet; it’s perfect for a Valentine’s Day date night, a Galentine’s bash with all your girlfriends, or even just a night for yourself. You can totally throw these in the freezer, too, to enjoy at a later date. Happy munching!
