Let's be honest: When you buy an inexpensive cat tree, you know it'll last a year at best before it starts to unravel and fall apart completely. At least that's what I used to think, but here I am over five years and eight cats later with the same condo I purchased back in 2019.

The Frisco 52-Inch Faux Fur Cat Tree is currently on sale starting at only $53 at Chewy on National Pet Day, which is the first time it has been on sale in a while. To make the deal even sweeter, the brand is offering a free $20 eGift card to new customers who spend over $49 on their first order and use code WELCOME at checkout. That means first-time shoppers could bring the price down to just $33! You'll also receive fast, free shipping as a bonus.

I'll admit that at this point my cat tree has seen better days, but my feline friends are still obsessed with it after all this time. So much so that one of them lounged on its top tier for nine hours straight basking in the sun.

There are three levels with two platforms and a hiding hole, making it great for multi-cat households since there is plenty of room for everyone. It also features six scratching posts that allow them to stretch their feet and the attached ball on top is great for additional entertainment.

It's been a while, but I remember the assembly process being quick and easy. Everything was delivered in a compact box and I was able to put it together myself with the included tools in under 30 minutes thanks to its clear instructions. All I had to do was screw the pieces together, and it has surprisingly stayed sturdy and wobble-free over the years (even during rough play).

Considering it has been used and abused for well over five years, and has been outside on the patio for an entire summer, it's in great shape. The carpet is soft and plush, and although the scratching posts have started to unravel a bit, they still get used daily by my outdoor cats.

I can't say I'm shocked that nearly 10,000 other shoppers have given it a perfect five-star rating at Chewy. Several other reviewers have also claimed to have theirs for years and say it's "still going strong."

"This thing has lasted three moves (one cross-country) and over four years," one person wrote. "100% worth it, my babies love it."

It's rare to find a cat tree of this size that costs under $60, let alone one that lasts as long as this one does. From one cat parent to another, this is a National Pet Day deal you don't want to miss out on.
