Both Aldi and Trader Joe’s have some truly tasty seasonal treats like Aldi’s Gluten-Free Holiday Donuts and Trader Joe’s Peppermint Brownies. In a recent video from TikToker @aldiallthetime, the grocer has released some delicious holiday desserts like Sugar Cookie Donuts, Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies, and Christmas Kringles. However, the creator spotted a new treat that’s a dupe for an iconic Trader Joe’s dessert.

The rumors are true: Aldi is now selling Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip that may just live up to the beloved Trader Joe’s version. The 10-ounce tub is a mixture of cannoli cream filling, blended with sour cream, vanilla, and mini chocolate chips. The grocer is even taking it a step further by selling a Peppermint Chip version, whisked with mini mint chips rather than chocolate. Each container is retailing for just $3.69 each.

Comparatively, the Trader Joe’s Sweet Cannoli Dip is at a slightly higher price point of $3.99 for an eight-ounce tub. It is also a little more dairy-heavy, whipping together cream cheese, sour cream, and ricotta as the base for the dip. “If the cannoli dip is anything like the Trader Joe’s dip, I’m buying them all,” wrote a user on the TikTok video.

Aldi fans are obsessed with the treat and are flocking to the stores to pick it up before the holidays. “The cannoli dip was so good,” commented one user, while another said, “The Chocolate Chip Cannoli Dip is so good, especially with vanilla cookies.”

Vanilla cookies sound like the perfect vehicle to spoon the confection into your mouth. We would also recommend broken cannoli shells, strawberries, or even graham crackers. You can definitely add this to your holiday dessert spread or bring as a guest to your next holiday party. Either way, we’re certain the tub will be gone before the night is over, so you may want to snag two.
