This Hanes bra has been my go-to for years

I’ve never liked wearing bras.

After all, bras can be hideously uncomfortable, complete with straps and underwire that dig into shoulders and rib cages, scratchy fabric, and ill-fitting cups. I started wearing a bra at nine years old and have pretty much been on the hunt for one that’s simultaneously cute and comfortable ever since.

After years of slipping on uncomfortable bras that poked and dug into all the wrong places, I certainly never thought I’d be able to get away with wearing a wireless bra. How on earth would it lift and support my larger chest? Those concerns all fell away when I discovered the Hanes Smooth Comfort Wireless Bra. I bought one color, then another, and now my bra drawer is teeming with this one style. Best of all, it’s under $15 at Amazon.

Many bras designed for larger chests may be supportive, but they’re just not that cute. Thankfully, this Hanes bra is anything but. It’s crafted with a plunging V-neckline, wider shoulder straps, unlined cups, and a triple hook-and-eye back closure. Even though it’s wireless, it still lifts and supports my boobs, which I consider a not-so-small miracle. It comes in four colors, including black, nude, white, and gray herringbone, and sizes S–3X. As someone who typically wears a 38DD, the XL fits my chest perfectly.

The sleek, satin-like fabric disappears under even the thinnest T-shirts and features the brand’s signature ComfortFlex Fit four-way stretch that moves with me and adapts to my shape. There’s no digging in, either — my shoulders and rib cage both feel supported in supreme comfort no matter what I’m doing. The fabric is also moisture-wicking, so I can even hike Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles without bouncing or sweating through the bra.

In case you’re wondering whether this bra is actually comfortable, the answer is a resounding yes. While I typically can’t wait to take my bra off and throw it across the room, I find myself wearing it throughout the day and forgetting I have it on.

I’m hardly the only one who’s fallen in love with this bra; it’s so comfortable that it’s racked up a staggering 21,000 five-star ratings from Amazon shoppers. I discovered so many fellow 38DD reviewers who have found the comfort and fit unparalleled. “I am so amazed of how good and perfect this wireless bra fits,” one shopper wrote, continuing that it “feels like second skin” and their boobs are “happy and perky.”

Other 38DD shoppers raved it’s “love at first fit,” and that the bra is “the most comfortable and supportive” one they’ve worn. A five-star reviewer even said it’s “so comfortable I could sleep in it.” And there’s one reviewer who called the bra a “miracle.”
