Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning

Look what you made them do! Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan just couldn't resist the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce jokes during this year's CMA Awards opening monologue.

The dynamic hosting duo returned once again to host country music's biggest night on Wednesday, Nov, 8, where they welcomed the crowd to the 57th Annual CMA Awards ceremony with a playful introduction.

While Swift's love story with the Kansas City Chiefs player continues to take over the pop culture world, Manning, 47, and Bryan, 47, decided to capitalize on the hype by working some jokes into their monologue.

"We're back!" Manning told the audience, while asking his co-host, "And you know what that means?"

"Yep, Travis and Taylor weren't available," Bryan quipped in response, while Manning added, "Exactly."

But that wasn't the only joke the pair had up their sleeves, as Manning clearly wanted to keep things going.

The former Colts quarterback went on to say, "Luke, do you know the difference between Taylor Swift and the NY Jets?"

"Taylor can sell out a stadium?" Bryan answered.

"You nailed it!" Manning added, while the crowd erupted in laughter. "I had you do that punchline, Luke, so I wouldn't get in trouble."

Fans likely knew all too well that such a joke was coming, as Swift and Kelce have been the talk of the town for weeks now.

As their budding romance continues to heat up, fans have been wondering if Kelce, 34, will be making an appearance at Swift's Eras Tour performance in Argentina over the weekend, as the kickoff of the next leg of the pop star's tour happens to coincide with the athlete's Bye Week.

Despite reports claiming that he will be making his way to South America to watch Swift perform, Kelce refused to confirm his plans during the latest episode of his and brother Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, where he stayed mum about what exactly he has in store for the weekend.

Instead, fans will have to wait to see if Kelce shows up when Swift kicks off the first of her three consecutive shows in Argentina on Nov. 9.
