100 Point Napa Winery Unveils New Tasting Experience
Today on the historic Silverado Trail, the iconic Shafer Vineyards officially rolls out The Hillside Select Experience: a new level of Napa Valley luxury geared to make you connect on another level with the distinguished wines of the region. The Hillside Select Experience is a tasting adventure that promises an unforgettable exploration of one of America’s most revered wines: Hillside Select. Described as “One of the New World’s most profound Cabernet Sauvignons” by esteemed wine critic Robert Parker, Jr., Hillside Select has garnered numerous 100-point scores across more than 10 vintages from leading critics.

The journey, priced at $500 per guest, commences with a welcome pour featuring Billecart Salmon Champagne and Regiis Ova caviar. Guests then embark on an exclusive tour of Shafer’s historic hillside estate aboard a Polaris Ranger vehicle, granting access to hidden corners and panoramic vistas of the vineyard.

Upon reaching a private overlook offering unparalleled views of Napa Valley, guests savor the current vintage of Hillside Select surrounded by the serene beauty of Shafer’s hillside estate, the site of grape-growing and winemaking since 1880.

Returning to the winery, guests are treated to a trio of rare library selections of Hillside Select, aged to perfection in Shafer’s own library, offering a tantalizing journey through this distinguished Cabernet Sauvignon at 5+, 10+, and 20+ years old.
