Royals Revel in Weekend of Polo, Babies and More!

A polo match is never just a polo match, at least when the new generation of England’s royal family is involved.

Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton proved that to be true this weekend when the headline-grabbing

trio showed up for the Audi Polo Challenge, an annual event to raise funds for the princes’ favorite charities.

The cameras documenting the game quickly moved from the field to the sidelines, where Middleton, 30, stood out in the crowd, wearing a teal Libelula Studio shirt dress and Stuart Weitzman wedges.

Middleton watched her husband, William, 29, and brother-in-law Prince Harry, 27, play in the match, and was joined by a royal aide and the newest addition to the royal family, the couple’s dog Lupo, at her side.

Lupo, a black cocker spaniel, appeared to have adapted quickly to his royal owners and life in the spotlight since being adopted by the couple last December.

The puppy had free reign off the polo field and took advantage of it, reportedly romping around the sidelines, making friends with fellow dogs and charming some of the other 200 attendees.  Even Prince Harry, while on a break from playing in the match, took time to give his brother and sister-in-law’s puppy a royal nuzzle.

Prince Harry also stopped to coo over a friend's baby. The playful prince touched the baby’s head and made funny faces until the lucky little one smiled.

Harry had particular interest in this year's match, held in Ascot, England, as all the proceeds went to one of his favored charities, Sentebale.
