Boozy Ghost Milkshakes Are Equally Charming and Delicious

Ghost Milkshake
Serves 4

These ghostly milkshakes are made by painting honey on the outside of the glass and rolling in black sanding sugar. They’re given a tropical twist with a blend of coconut sorbet, rum, and ice cream. Top off these ghostly concoctions with a mound of freshly whipped cream.

Honey, for decorating
Black sanding sugar, for decorating
6 tablespoons whole milk
1 pint coconut sorbet
1 pint vanilla ice cream
2/3 cup white rum
Sweetened whipped cream, for decorating

Paint ghost faces on glasses with honey and gently roll them in black sanding sugar. (Photo: Diana Yen)

Prepare the glasses by painting the ghost faces with honey on the exterior of the glass. Gently roll in black sanding sugar. Keep glasses in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Combine the milk, sorbet, ice cream, and rum in a blender and blend until smooth. Top each glass with a mound of whipped cream. Serve immediately.
