Zendaya Gave a Rare Glimpse at Her and Tom Holland’s Adorable Relationship

Including their "coolest" date night out as a couple.

Zendaya and Tom Holland often keep the details of their relationship under wraps, but sometimes the pair will slip a few intimate details to feed us mere mortals. While discussing her upcoming film Challengers with Vogue, Zendaya talked about watching her boyfriend deal with his career exploding after starring in the Spider-Man franchise.

“We were both very, very young, but my career was already kind of going, and his changed overnight. One day, you’re a kid, and you’re at the pub with your friends, and then the next day, you’re Spider-Man,” she explained. “I definitely watched his life kind of change in front of him. But he handled it really beautifully.” (The actress added that she plans to support him when he hits London's West End show of Romeo & Juliet, saying she “could not be more proud. I’m going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can.”)

Zendaya's comments mirror Holland's about what it was like for him to adjust to being a famous person back in 2017, following the Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere. "We are like the best of friends. She's so great and amazing," Holland said of Zendaya, who was only his co-star at the time. "I'm a little worried [about dealing with fame … but] Zendaya is super famous, and she's been through this, and I just call her up and say, 'How do I manage being famous?' I'm very glad I have a friend like her."

Now, the couple is used to having prying eyes on them at all times. Zendaya spoke about when she and Holland decided to go on a date to the Louvre Museum in Paris back in 2022. Despite being advised not to go since it was busy, they went anyway and still managed to enjoy themselves.

It was actually fine,” she recalled. “You just kind of get used to the fact that, Oh, I’m also one of these art pieces you’re going to take a picture of. I just gotta be totally cool with it and just live my life.” Fame ultimately has its perks, as staffers at the museum let her and Holland stay after closing. “It was one of the coolest experiences ever,” Zendaya added. “It was like Night at the Museum.
