Wiregrass girl to play Carnegie Hall
ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) — An Enterprise girl is set to play at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York this summer.
Alice Pack, a member of the Enterprise State Community College Youth and Community Orchestra, will perform on June 19 in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.
Pack was invited to play at the music hall after winning first place in the Elementary Division of the Gulf Coast Steinway Society Piano Competition in early February.
She plays piano and violin.
On Monday, April 29, ESCC will hold a special concert to showcase Pack’s talents. The event is free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted to help Pack on her journey to the Big Apple.
