Waxahatchee stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night for a performance of her new song “Right Back To It” with MJ Lenderman.
Named Song of the Week when it debuted earlier this year, “Right Back To It” served as the lead single to Waxahatchee’s new album, Tigers Blood, which debuted last Friday.
Tigers Blood is Waxahatchee’s sixth studio album and arrived via ANTI-. In a review for Consequence, Jonah Krueger called the album “remarkable” and “immaculate,” celebrating it for offering “more than enough new ideas to warrant its existence, all while maintaining the core” of Waxahatchee’s signature artistry.
Beginning next month, Waxahatchee will support Tigers Blood by embarking a sprawling North American tour. Tickets are available here.
