It's the holiday season, for you and me — and the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree!

Now that we’re done with Thanksgiving (and Black Friday), it’s time to ring in the season with one of the most festive events of the year: the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting. On Wednesday, Nov. 29 (tonight!) at 8 p.m. ET, NBC will hold its 91st tree lighting ceremony. Hosted by pop icon Kelly Clarkson, the most wonderful event of the year will feature performances by Cher, Chloe Bailey, Liz Gillies, Katharine McPhee, Keke Palmer and more. Plus an appearance from the Radio City Rockettes. To close out the evening of holiday cheer, Rockefeller Center’s 80-foot-tall Norway spruce tree will be decked out with 50,000 multicolored lights, topped with a 900-pound star covered in 3 million Swarovski crystals, and lit up to mark the start of the most wonderful time of the year.
