New 'The Wiz Live' Teaser is Your Tuesday 'Ease On Down the Road' Earworm
In just one month, NBC will invite viewers to “Ease on Down the Road” with their production of The Wiz Live, a star-packed production of the Tony-winning stage musical (and 1978 Oscar-nominated film starring Miss Diana Ross). After holding open casting calls to find their Dorothy — newcomer Shanice Williams won the role — NBC filled the rest of the cast with high-profile talent including Queen Latifah, Uzo Aduba, David Allen Grier, and Ne-Yo.

Two weeks ago the network released the first photos of the cast in character, and now NBC has released the first musical tease, giving us a glimpse of Williams in action as Dorothy. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be watching this on a loop for the next 30 days.
The Wiz Live airs Thursday, December 3 at on NBC.
