    So you wanted to meet the wizard? Let us tell you, you’ve come to the right place. NBC has released the first footage of Queen Latifah belting out her signature tune (“So You Wanted to See the Wizard” from Broadway’s The Wiz) in the latest promo for The Wiz Live. The video also gives us a glimpse at the elaborate Emerald City sets and costumes, and a brief sampling of Dorothy (newcomer Shanice Williams) singing the show’s closing number, “Home.”

    In just one month, NBC will invite viewers to “Ease on Down the Road” with their production of The Wiz Live, a star-packed production of the Tony-winning stage musical (and 1978 Oscar-nominated film starring Miss Diana Ross).
