Executive producer Brian Grazer says he and the production team are “a couple of weeks away” from something official, and that they’ve completed a “work matrix” and a “compensation structure” for the insanely busy cast. No surprise, considering Jason Bateman is making a new series, Portia de Rossi is on Scandal, Will Arnett is filming a movie, Michael Cera has eight projects in the pipeline, Tony Hale is a regular on Veep, Jeffrey Tambor is winning Emmys left and right for Transparent, Jessica Walter is still swilling martinis on Archer, and David Cross is … on every ComedySportz improv team at the same time, or something.
Netflix recently invited children of the ‘80s and ‘90s to take a warm nostalgia bath by launching Fuller House, the two-decades-in-the-making sequel series to the TGIF sitcom staple, Full House. While critics weren’t kind, fans took to social media to express their thrill at spending more time with the Tanner family. Coming on the heels of Fox’s highly-rated X-Files relaunch, the positive reaction for Fuller House bodes well for planned reboots of other previously-cancelled favorites like MacGyver and Gilmore Girls. The 10th season of X-Files came to a conclusion on Monday and it appears as though Scully finally believes in aliens. Scully did a test on her DNA and found alien DNA inside herself, which turned out to be a blessing. Unfortunately Mulder doesn’t have any alien DNA so he is on death’s doorstep, unlike Scully.
We put the 'Aquarius' star to the test and ask him to name past roles from one line of dialogue. (Just don't ask him to name the other Wilson brother.)
